About the Company
This high-growth wellness brand is pioneering a new category of science-backed, lifestyle-driven products and has built a loyal customer base through direct-to-consumer channels. Now, they’re expanding into retail and are looking for a Chief Retail Officer to lead the charge across wholesale, brick-and-mortar, and retail partnerships.
The Role
As Chief Retail Officer, you will own and drive the brand’s retail strategy, overseeing expansion into new channels, scaling wholesale partnerships, and building operational excellence across all physical and third-party retail touchpoints. You’ll serve as a key member of the leadership team and work cross-functionally to ensure the retail business complements the brand’s overall vision and growth strategy.
What You’ll Do
🛍 Develop & Execute Retail Strategy – Define and implement the long-term retail vision, including wholesale, in-store activations, and retail partnerships.
🤝 Lead Key Partnerships – Build and deepen relationships with national retailers, boutique partners, and specialty stores.
📈 Own Retail P&L – Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure profitable, sustainable retail growth.
🧠 Build Retail Infrastructure – Lead the development of tools, processes, and teams to support merchandising, demand planning, and retail operations.
🎯 Align Retail & Brand Vision – Ensure retail experience is an extension of brand storytelling, customer experience, and overall marketing strategy.
