The Role

As Director of Retail Sales, you’ll lead the strategy and execution for wholesale and retail growth across national and specialty accounts. You’ll be responsible for managing key relationships, driving revenue targets, and developing go-to-market strategies that expand distribution while maintaining brand integrity.


What You’ll Do

πŸ› Drive Retail Growth – Lead expansion into major retailers and specialty partners to achieve sales and distribution goals

🀝 Manage Key Accounts – Build and nurture relationships with buyers, brokers, and retail partners to ensure long-term success

πŸ“ˆ Develop Sales Strategy – Create and execute short- and long-term sales plans that align with brand and revenue objectives

πŸ“¦ Forecasting & Planning – Manage sales forecasting, inventory planning, and promotional calendars in collaboration with operations

πŸ’¬ Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with marketing, finance, and operations teams to align retail efforts with broader brand strategy

πŸ“Š Analyze & Report – Track sell-through, performance metrics, and category trends to inform business decisions and optimize growth


What You’ll Bring

βœ”οΈ 8–10+ years of experience in retail or wholesale sales, ideally within CPG, wellness, or natural products

βœ”οΈ Proven success building and scaling retail partnerships with major national and specialty accounts

βœ”οΈ Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills

βœ”οΈ Experience with trade marketing, promotional strategy, and category management

βœ”οΈ Excellent analytical and forecasting abilities

βœ”οΈ Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mission-driven brand environment
