The Role
As Director of Retail Sales, youβll lead the strategy and execution for wholesale and retail growth across national and specialty accounts. Youβll be responsible for managing key relationships, driving revenue targets, and developing go-to-market strategies that expand distribution while maintaining brand integrity.
What Youβll Do
π Drive Retail Growth β Lead expansion into major retailers and specialty partners to achieve sales and distribution goals
π€ Manage Key Accounts β Build and nurture relationships with buyers, brokers, and retail partners to ensure long-term success
π Develop Sales Strategy β Create and execute short- and long-term sales plans that align with brand and revenue objectives
π¦ Forecasting & Planning β Manage sales forecasting, inventory planning, and promotional calendars in collaboration with operations
π¬ Cross-Functional Collaboration β Partner with marketing, finance, and operations teams to align retail efforts with broader brand strategy
π Analyze & Report β Track sell-through, performance metrics, and category trends to inform business decisions and optimize growth
What Youβll Bring
βοΈ 8β10+ years of experience in retail or wholesale sales, ideally within CPG, wellness, or natural products
βοΈ Proven success building and scaling retail partnerships with major national and specialty accounts
βοΈ Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills
βοΈ Experience with trade marketing, promotional strategy, and category management
βοΈ Excellent analytical and forecasting abilities
