Director of Key Accounts โ Innovative Beauty & Lifestyle Brand

About the Role
This role will lead the charge on key and specialty wholesale partnerships, working with some of the worldโs most influential beauty retailers. As Director of Key Accounts, youโll develop and implement sales strategies, manage account performance, forecast sales, and ensure seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams. Youโll act as the central contact between internal stakeholders and external retailer partners, driving brand growth and visibility while ensuring operational excellence.
What Youโll Do
๐ Account Management โ Oversee and grow key retail partnerships; build strong relationships with merchants, marketing, education, and planning teams.
๐ Strategic Planning & Forecasting โ Develop tailored strategies per account, create sales forecasts, track against targets, and provide monthly business reviews.
๐ฆ Order Management โ Own the purchase order lifecycle, maintain accurate shipment files, and align with planning and logistics teams.
๐ฐ Budget Oversight โ Manage operating spend, track promotional deductions, and ensure gross-to-net accuracy.
๐ฏ Launch & Promotion Planning โ Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to execute campaigns and product launches in alignment with brand goals.
๐ Performance Analysis โ Recap promotions and marketing investments, track ROI, and identify opportunities for growth.
๐ Market Insights โ Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform account strategy.
What Youโll Bring
โ๏ธ 5+ years of experience in sales, trade, or account management within the beauty industry (experience with Sephora, Mecca, and Space NK is required)
โ๏ธ Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, sales analytics, and merchandising
โ๏ธ Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
โ๏ธ Ability to manage budgets and drive profitable growth across retail partners
โ๏ธ Highly collaborative, organized, and strategic with a solutions-oriented mindset
โ๏ธ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
