We’re partnering with a vibrant, high-energy restaurant located in Nashville’s rapidly growing WEHO neighborhood, one of the city’s most exciting destinations for dining, nightlife, and entertainment. Inspired by the culture and hospitality of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, this scratch kitchen concept blends elevated Mexican cuisine, craft cocktails, tequila and mezcal culture, and a lively social atmosphere into a standout dining experience.

We’re seeking a passionate, people-focused General Manager who thrives in high-volume environments, builds strong teams, drives financial performance, and delivers exceptional guest experiences.



About the Role

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, overseeing operations, team development, guest experience, financial performance, and culture. This role leads all front-of-house operations while partnering closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless execution across the entire restaurant.


This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, coaching teams in real time, building culture, and leading a busy restaurant with confidence, positivity, and accountability.


The ideal candidate is operationally strong, hospitality-driven, financially savvy, and energized by fast-paced service and vibrant restaurant environments.

 


What You’ll Do

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams
  • Foster a positive, high-accountability culture focused on hospitality and teamwork
  • Set clear expectations and uphold company standards consistently
  • Build strong relationships with guests, staff, and ownership
  • Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and floor presence

·        Conduct regular manager meetings, pre-shifts, and team development sessions

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional hospitality and service
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
  • Maintain strong online reputation management and guest feedback follow-up
  • Create memorable dining experiences that align with the company brand

Operations

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations
  • Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and operational systems are consistently executed
  • Manage scheduling, labor controls, and staffing levels
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations
  • Ensure proper cash handling and end-of-day procedures are followed
  • Oversee maintenance needs and facility standards

Financial Performance

  • Drive sales growth and profitability
  • Manage labor costs, prime costs, and operational expenses
  • Analyze P&L reports and implement strategies to improve performance
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls
  • Work with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Staffing & Development

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train team members and managers
  • Create development plans for high-performing employees
  • Conduct performance reviews and corrective action when necessary
  • Ensure onboarding and training systems are executed effectively
  • Build a strong management bench for future growth



What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchen restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven success managing P&L performance, labor, and inventory controls
  • Hospitality-first mindset with a passion for guest experience
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations, tequila/mezcal programs, and hospitality-driven service preferred
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • $75,000 - $85,000 base salary per year, commensurate with experience
