Responsibilities:

• 10+ years of customs brokerage/freight forwarding experience
• Knowledge of SAP system
• Ensure compliance with all U.S. Customs and international trade regulations, preventing violations and ensuring proper documentation for import/export activities.
• Oversee customs clearance processes, including classification under the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Export Control Classification Number (ECCN).
• Conduct Denied Party Screenings and maintain records using Vestera software,ensuring adherence to compliance policies
• Act as the primary contact for Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) compliance and liaise with government agencies regarding trade compliance matters.
• Assist brokers with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) requirements, validating and submitting regulatory documentation
• Manage trade operations across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with Incoterms and facilitating smooth international transactions.
