Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high performance and morale
- Maintain top-tier standards for food preparation, taste, and presentation
- Control inventory and manage food ordering and storage
- Uphold sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Collaborate in menu planning, recipe development, and plating design
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste through effective portion control
- Step into leadership role in absence of the Head Chef
Requirements
- 3+ years of kitchen experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or sous chef role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
