About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented FF&E Designer to join our Abu Dhabi-based team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting commercial projects, providing creative design solutions, and delivering outstanding workplace environments. This role is with a leading office furniture dealer representing multiple premium global brands, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

·     Develop FF&E design concepts and specifications for commercial office spaces.

·     Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, and presentation materials for client meetings.

·     Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure project success.

·     Source, select, and specify furniture, finishes, and accessories in line with client requirements and brand standards.

·     Provide technical drawings, 2D/3D visuals, and documentation to support design proposals.

·     Ensure design solutions are functional, innovative, and aligned with global workplace trends.

·     Prepare FF&E budgets, cost estimates, and schedules; assist in value engineering to meet financial and quality targets.

·     Manage client presentations and contribute to winning new business.

·     Support procurement and liaise with suppliers to meet project timelines.

Requirements

·     Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.

·     Minimum 5 years of experience as an FF&E Designer within a furniture dealership or design consultancy, ideally handling commercial office projects.

·     Strong portfolio showcasing space planning, furniture selection, and workplace design solutions.

·     Excellent knowledge of international office furniture brands and workplace trends.

·     Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.

·     Strong communication and presentation skills with a client-facing approach.

·     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

·     Based in Abu Dhabi (or willing to relocate).
