POSITION PURPOSE

The MEP Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all MEP activities, ensuring high-quality work that meets project requirements and industry standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on construction projects
• Review project designs and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Manage a team of engineers, technicians, subcontractors and inhouse force to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in MEP technology.
• Cover all contractual and commercial aspects of the MEP department including planning for the projects and allocation of the in-house team.

QUALIFICATIONS\REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field)
• Proven experience in MEP project management, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Certification in MEP-related software or systems is a plus
• Managed MEP Team.
