POSITION PURPOSE
The MEP Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all MEP activities, ensuring high-quality work that meets project requirements and industry standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on construction projects
- Review project designs and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage a team of engineers, technicians, subcontractors and inhouse force to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in MEP technology.
- Cover all contractual and commercial aspects of the MEP department including planning for the projects and allocation of the in-house team.

QUALIFICATIONS\REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field)
- Proven experience in MEP project management, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Certification in MEP-related software or systems is a plus
- Managed MEP Team.
