The business specialises in the manufacturing of high-performance fire-rated and acoustic wooden doors and has built a strong reputation within the construction industry.

As part of its continued growth, the company has recently expanded into Interior Design & Contracting, focusing on premium single-unit projects across both commercial and residential sectors.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager with a strong background in joinery and fit-out works to oversee daily workshop operations and site installation activities.

This role will be responsible for managing production across two manufacturing facilities, leading factory and site teams, planning workflows, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. The Production Manager will work closely with internal departments to meet project timelines, optimise resources, and ensure a safe, organised, and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall performance of production operations across two facilities, as well as site installation teams
• Optimise material usage and manpower to minimise waste and inefficiencies
• Manage and coordinate inventory control in collaboration with relevant departments
• Work closely with production department heads to ensure smooth workflow and output
• Collaborate with Quality Control teams to establish and enforce quality standards
• Analyse production data to identify and resolve operational issues
• Track and resolve critical production line challenges to ensure project deadlines are met
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Prepare and manage daily production schedules for senior management review
• Ensure factory premises are well organised and all machinery is maintained in working order
• Motivate and lead factory workers to consistently achieve production targets
• Support HR with recruitment and onboarding of factory staff as required

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a joinery or fit-out company in a Production Manager or similar role
• Strong ability to read and execute AutoCAD drawings, with the capability to suggest cost-effective solutions
• In-depth knowledge of wood species, raw materials, ironmongery, and fit-out-related products
• Sound understanding of joinery machinery, labour productivity, and industry best practices
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly material management modules, and MS Office applications
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people-management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
