We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Team Lead who is passionate about driving team performance and their own sales results. About the Role:

This full-time role is based across our Sydney learning hubs and offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 plus bonus. (incl. super), plus performance bonuses of up to 50% of base salary.

As Sales Team Lead, you’ll be leading a high-performing Sales Team, while working closely with the Head of Sales to drive growth across multiple locations. This role combines hands-on selling with people leadership, and you’ll balance personal sales targets with coaching, mentoring, and team development. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with operations and marketing to refine the customer journey and deliver an exceptional experience that delights customers and sets the tone for excellence across the team.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching and motivating a team of Sales Officers across multiple sites
  • Driving performance by helping the team consistently exceed revenue targets, conversion rates, and key KPIs
  • Personally handling inbound leads and sales conversations (around half of your time)
  • Delivering weekly one-on-one coaching sessions to help team members grow and improve
  • Tracking performance, analysing data, and making strategic decisions that drive growth
  • Creating a warm, welcoming environment that for students and families
  • Acting as the go-to for escalations and complex questions 

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Ability to lead high-performing sales teams while hitting or exceeding your own sales goals
  • Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to lead 1:1s, team huddles, and customer conversations effectively
  • A love for sales data and knowledge of key metrics that drive performance
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to balance personal sales and team leadership across multiple hubs
  • Confidence using CRMs and sales tools 
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • A current Working With Children Check (or a willingness to obtain one)


Desirable:

  • Experience in education or tutoring
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or another second language
  • Prior experience managing sales teams across multiple locations.

Location:

This role is based across our Sydney learning hubs: Chatswood, Epping, Parramatta, Burwood and Hurstville.

Hours and Remuneration:

This position offers a competitive salary package of $65,000 - $90,000 (including super) plus bonuses of up to 50% of base salary, tied to performance.

You will be employed on a full-time basis (38 hours per week), with hours aligned to the business's operating schedule. Specific days and times will be confirmed during the interview process to ensure a mutual fit.

Standard Operating Schedule

  • Weekdays: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
  • Weekends: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

You will be working five days per week, with at least one weekend day included as part of your regular schedule.

The business operates during school terms on the same hours as it does in term. Leave is generally limited to school holidays and there is a 3 week mandatory shut-down over Christmas. Hours and days will be discussed in further application stages.
