Title: Marketing Analyst III – Customer Insights (Qualitative) (Contract)

Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $59- $63/HR

Duration: 12-month assignment



Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and insight-driven Marketing Analyst to support customer insights initiatives through qualitative research and analysis. In this role, you will focus on transforming open-ended customer feedback into actionable insights that inform business decisions and enhance customer experience.

You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, leveraging qualitative methodologies and text analytics tools to uncover themes, sentiment, and opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can translate complex, unstructured data into meaningful narratives that drive impact.


What You’ll Do:

· Analyze open-ended customer feedback, survey verbatims, and quantitative data to identify key themes and insights

· Apply comment coding, thematic analysis, and sentiment analysis methodologies

· Use qualitative analysis tools and text analytics platforms to uncover trends and customer pain points

· Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to provide a holistic view of customer experience

· Transform large volumes of unstructured data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders

· Develop presentations and communications tailored to diverse audiences, including leadership and frontline teams

· Present insights and recommendations through reports, meetings, and presentations

· Support custom research projects and ongoing customer experience initiatives


What You Bring:

· 3–5 years of experience in qualitative research, customer experience (CX), text analytics, or related fields

· Strong experience with comment coding, thematic analysis, and sentiment analysis

· Hands-on experience with text analytics tools (e.g., Medallia, Qualtrics Text iQ, Clarabridge, or similar)

· Solid understanding of qualitative research methods and survey design

· Ability to translate complex qualitative data into clear, actionable insights

· Experience working in ambiguous environments and structuring open-ended problems

· Strong project management and time management skills

· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills


Bonus Points If You Have:

· Familiarity with NLP concepts or text analysis using Python or R

· Experience analyzing multilingual or global datasets

· Background in retail, technology, or customer experience analytics

· Advanced Excel skills for qualitative data organization and analysis
