Salary: $100k – $115k base plus bonus

Overview

Responsibilities

·    Assist in the preparation and reviewing quarterly and annual SEC filings 

·    Assist with managing the SEC filing process

·    Create analysis as needed

·    Liaise with the external auditors to ensure timely filings

·    Own processes and prepare key control documentation to support SOX compliance

·    Partner with multiple teams across the organization to ensure varying deadlines are met

·    Remain current with changing accounting and regulatory standards to assess any implication to the company

·    Lead training for teams inside and outside of Finance

·    Participate in special projects as needed

·    Participate in automation initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is required.

·    2 ½ to 5 years of experience in financial reporting and/or public accounting, Big 4 experience is a plus.

·    Prior experience in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.(INDUSTRY IS NOT REQUIRED)

·    Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, IFRS is a plus.

·    Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

·    Proficiency in Workiva, OneStream, SAP, or similar financial systems is a plus. (HM DOESN”T EXPECT ANY OF THIS)
