Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive optometric care, including routine eye exams and medical optometry services
- Diagnose, manage, and treat a variety of ocular conditions
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Utilize advanced ophthalmic technology to support diagnosis and treatment
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Participate in clinical initiatives, quality improvement, and patient care programs
Qualifications:
Required:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active or eligible for licensure in New York
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Preferred:
- Interest in medical optometry or subspecialty care
- Prior experience in a group or multi-specialty setting
