Title may be appointed at the Vice President level depending on the experience and leadership depth a candidate brings. Lead Enterprise Infrastructure with Visibility and Influence


We are representing a stable, growth-oriented, family-owned financial institution seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead enterprise network architecture, oversee data center operations, and guide the long-term infrastructure strategy of the organization.


This is not a maintenance role. It is a visible leadership opportunity with executive interaction and full ownership of the infrastructure function. The organization is actively investing in modernization initiatives, including a Microsoft 365 cloud migration and a Cisco switching refresh, and is seeking a leader who can elevate both the technology environment and the performance of the team.

Scope of Responsibility

This role oversees enterprise infrastructure operations across:

  • LAN/WAN architecture and redundancy design
  • Cisco routing and switching (including Nexus environments)
  • Network segmentation and performance monitoring (SNMP, NetFlow)
  • Data center infrastructure
  • Third-party managed firewall and security services
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery readiness
  • Infrastructure compliance within a regulated environment


You will lead and develop a team of approximately 10 engineers and infrastructure professionals, serving as the escalation point for complex infrastructure matters while guiding major initiatives from planning through execution.

  • Confidently manage infrastructure operations and ongoing projects

  • Successfully advance modernization initiatives
  • Improve operational processes and documentation

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings:

  • 8–15+ years of progressive network and infrastructure experience
  • Deep Cisco expertise (routers, Nexus switching, BGP/EIGRP/OSPF preferred)
  • Strong enterprise LAN/WAN and data center background
  • Experience leading engineers or technical teams
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • Professional presence and collaborative leadership style

CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred.

This role requires technical credibility paired with the ability to build and sustain a high-performing infrastructure team.


Compensation & Structure

  • Base salary: $135,000–$150,000
  • Performance bonus: historically 10–15%
  • Salaried leadership role (40–45 hours typical)
  • On-call leadership responsibility (rare escalations)
  • Fully onsite in the York, Nebraska area
