We are hiring a full-time Data Analyst to work at our Norton Shores, MI office. Please note that we are considering local candidates only, and relocation is not being provided. The individual we hire will be required to work in the office 3 days per week. Visa sponsorship is not being offered for this position.
Job Description:
The Data Analyst will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support decision-making across product strategy, supply chain, and customer engagement. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms, vendors, and other areas of the business).
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs related to sales, inventory, and customer behavior.
• Collect data related to quantity of products sold, product attributes, results of product launches, dimensions of products, and overall sales data.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support product strategy and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.
• Assist in forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels using statistical models.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
• Analysis & Interpretation:
o Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
o Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to automate data processes and improve reporting efficiency.
o Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• College degree in data analytics, statistics, finance, business or similar major strongly preferred, along with at least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and process improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving, data interpretation, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, along with other Microsoft applications.
• Experience with BI tools is a plus but not required. (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in industrial components distribution or manufacturing supply chains is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
