About the Role

We are seeking a highly versatile DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in diagnosing infrastructure issues and optimizing deployment pipelines. You will operate at both conceptual and tactical levels—managing technical challenges and collaborating across development and operations teams in secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively take ownership of operations work across systems and services
• Diagnose and resolve issues in Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployments
• Support customer teams with troubleshooting and deployment assistance
• Manage configuration updates and oversee simultaneous change initiatives
• Lead upgrade efforts for infrastructure tools to align with industry standards
• Research, vet, and recommend new technologies for future adoption
• Serve as a cross-contract liaison supporting both front-end and back-end development teams
• Collaborate closely with customer operations teams to ensure service continuity
• Mentor and assist team members across environments (low-side and high-side)

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of DevOps concepts—down to board-level architecture
• Proficient in scripting languages: Bash, Python, and/or JavaScript
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with container orchestration and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of making high-impact decisions and managing priorities under pressure
• Interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively in a dynamic, cleared environment

Bonus Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Exposure to classified and cross-domain deployment workflows
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Required Clearance

• Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly
