SUMMARY


We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated senior executive (Title TBD) to oversee the operations of our world-class table tennis center in California. The senior executive (Title TBD) will be responsible for the overall success and growth of the center, ensuring exceptional player experiences, effective management, and financial sustainability. This role requires a combination of exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic Planning


  • Craft and implement a strategic roadmap for the table tennis center, igniting passion through a compelling vision, ambitious goals, and clear-cut objectives.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by constantly analyzing market dynamics, keenly assessing competitors, and dynamically adapting strategies to maintain our leading edge.
  • Drive innovation and creativity in programming and offerings to meet the evolving needs of the table tennis community.


Operational Management


  • Champion the daily pulse of our operations, orchestrating flawless registration, seamless scheduling, and top-tier facility management for an unparalleled experience.
  • Drive the implementation of streamlined operational frameworks, turbocharging productivity and elevating player satisfaction.
  • Innovate and refine operational protocols to unlock peak efficiency and amplify effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.


Leadership & Team Management


  • Inspire with unwavering leadership, artfully conveying the center's vision and goals to our exceptional team of staff, coaches, and players, igniting a shared passion for excellence.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, recruiting and retaining talented coaches and staff.
  • Cultivate a culture of positivity and inclusivity, where every member of our team feels valued, empowered, and motivated to excel, fostering continuous professional growth and steadfast dedication.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and passion.


Revenue Generations & Financial Management

 

  • Ensure the financial sustainability of the table tennis center through effective budgeting and cost management.
  • Identify and explore additional revenue sources, such as sponsorships, partnerships, and events.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth and profitability.


Community Engagement

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the table tennis community, local clubs, associations, and organizations.
  • Actively engage with local schools and community groups to promote table tennis and recruit new players.
  • Organize and participate in community events, tournaments, and outreach programs to raise awareness and participation in the sport.
  • Serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for the table tennis center, advocating for its mission and impact.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


  • Proven track record in leadership and management, preferably in the sports or recreational industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and revenue generation.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in strategic planning, financial management, and marketing.
  • Experience in planning and executing fundraising activities in amateur sports organizations.
  • Demonstrated comprehension of sales and event management coupled with hands-on experience aiding senior management in developing and executing a strategically oriented budget process.
  • Proven track record in diversifying revenue streams and enhancing return on investment through forward-looking opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with players, coaches, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving table tennis landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
