We have an excellent opportunity working with a reputable team driven company in the tool fabrication industry.

STRIVE Recruitment is currently hiring a s experienced Horizontal/Vertical CNC Boring Mill Machinists to work in their specialized, air-conditioned facility with one of the leading manufacturers in the Tool Fabrication industry.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Setup and Operation: Set up, program, and operate large Horizontal/Vertical CNC boring mills.
• Precision Machining: Perform precision boring, milling, drilling, and tapping to tight tolerances.
• Programming: Edit or modify existing CNC programs and potentially generate new programs.
• Quality Inspection: Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tooling. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant experience in CNC boring mill operation.
• Experience with Heidenhain control and PowerMill software is an asset.
• Strong blueprint reading, understanding of GD&T, and ability to select proper cutting tools.
• Good communication skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
