Overview:

Our client is a rapidly growing wealth management firm seeking a CFP to step into an existing book of business and deliver exceptional planning and client care. In this role, you’ll partner closely with a seasoned Wealth Management Advisor and firm Partner, focusing entirely on client relationships, financial strategy, and high-level planning (not sales or cold calls). This is a rare opportunity to build deep relationships, execute complex plans, and work with a sophisticated client base without the pressure of business development.

Why this role stands out:

  • No prospecting required. You’ll inherit a book and focus entirely on planning and service.
  • Mentorship and access. Work side-by-side with a Partner and learn from leaders who have built a multi-million-dollar firm.
  • Elite client base. Plan for executives, entrepreneurs, and multigenerational families with complex needs.
  • Growth opportunity. As the firm expands, so does your potential path for leadership and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

Participate in and support client meetings alongside the lead advisor

  • Lead internal follow-up post-meeting to ensure all planning and execution items are handled with care
  • Act as a main point of contact for clients, delivering proactive communication and a high-touch experience
  • Conduct client reviews and adapt plans as client goals or markets evolve
  • Collaborate with internal teams across investments, insurance, planning, and client services
  • Maintain accurate notes and updates in the CRM system
  • Support legacy and multigenerational planning
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and the overall client experience

Qualifications:

CFP designation required

  • 4 or more years of experience advising high-net-worth clients
  • Strong understanding of investment strategy, particularly equities
  • History of managing relationships from onboarding through ongoing planning and reviews
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through
  • Prior experience at firms such as Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs is a plus
  • Series 7 and 66 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
