A fast-growing consumer brand is seeking a passionate and community-minded Social Media Associate to support an expanding social presence and bring the brand to life across digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Art Director of Social Media, this role will be instrumental in building an engaged and loyal online community while shaping how the brand shows up daily across social media.
This person will manage day-to-day social media operations—creating content, managing community interactions, and supporting broader social strategy execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, trend-savvy, and energized by engaging with an audience in an authentic, brand-aligned way.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily community management across social channels—including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook—in partnership with the Senior Art Director of Social Media.
- Act as the voice of the brand in social interactions—responding to comments, DMs, and tags in a timely, thoughtful, and brand-consistent way.
- Monitor and escalate customer-related concerns appropriately, working closely with the Customer Experience team.
- Support the execution of the content calendar, including daily posts to Instagram (feed, Stories, Reels), TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
- Collaborate on the creation of engaging content that drives conversation, reach, and growth.
- Identify and share key insights and community feedback to inform creative and social strategy.
- Help foster and maintain relationships with creators, tastemakers, and superfans within the community.
- Stay current on trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to keep the brand at the forefront of social media conversations.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand; beauty, fashion, or lifestyle experience preferred.
- Deep fluency across social platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
- A strong sense of voice, tone, and brand storytelling.
- Experience managing online communities with empathy, clarity, and speed.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset—you’re always looking for ways to improve or jump in.
- Strong writing skills and creative intuition, with an eye for detail and consistency.
- Familiarity with basic analytics and reporting tools; ability to track performance and understand what’s working.
- Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Must be based in Los Angeles and available to work a hybrid in-office schedule.
