Job Responsibilities


As the Assistant Superintendent, you will play a critical role in managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:


• Assisting the Superintendent in day-to-day supervision of construction sites, including monitoring progress, quality, and safety.

• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor to ensure smooth workflow.

• Managing project schedules and ensuring compliance with all construction plans, specifications, and safety standards.

• Conducting inspections, resolving any on-site issues promptly, and reporting updates to the Superintendent and Project Manager.

• Ensuring materials and resources are delivered and available as needed, preventing delays.

• Maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on project objectives and timelines.

• Upholding our client's commitment to quality and safety, ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.


Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 1-3+ years of on-site construction experience, preferably in a supervisory role.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.

• Knowledge of local building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols.
