This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in insurance marketing and placement who is eager to join a growing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our client's marketing initiatives by focusing on securing optimal coverage for a diverse book of both new and renewal business.
How You Will Contribute
The Risk Placement Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that are critical to the agency's success. Your contributions will include:

New & Renewal Business: Taking ownership of the entire marketing process for new and renewal accounts, from preparing comprehensive submissions to managing them through to binding.

Negotiating & Placing: Sourcing and negotiating with insurance carriers to secure the best pricing and coverage for clients.

Carrier Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse network of insurance carriers to understand their products and appetites.

Workflow Management: Ensuring all submissions are handled efficiently and adhere to the agency's quality control standards and deadlines.

Internal Collaboration: Working closely with producers and account managers to facilitate a smooth and effective placement process.

Documentation: Meticulously documenting all marketing activities and organizing carrier materials and company files.
Qualifications
- A Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct insurance experience in risk placement, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized professional with a keen eye for detail.
