Harrison Gray has partnered with a growing wealth management firm in Los Angeles to find their next Wealth Advisor. This role is responsible for helping to grow and expand the firm while servicing client relationships.
Responsibilities
The Wealth Advisor/Certified Financial Planner can expect to focus on the following areas:
- Manage client relationships with extensive client contact.
- Actively manages a client portfolio for the overall development and management of an investment strategy.
- Provides financial planning to the clients.
- Oversee the processes of opening accounts, drafting correspondence to clients, and transferring/distributing assets.
- Respond to direct client requests.
- Continued development of new business. Developed through independent means and utilizing professional networking and direct solicitation.
Qualifications
The Wealth Advisor/Certified Financial Planner position typically requires the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of general Wealth Advisory and Portfolio Management experience interfacing with HNW clients.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred but not required.
- Established network of accounting and legal professionals in the local and regional markets.
- Familiarity with Junxure, Advyzon, e-money, Morningstar, Zoom, Slack, and other client reporting applications is preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter, takes initiative
- Transferable book of business or demonstrated history of business development success
Designations: CFP Preferred
