Director/Sr. Manager, Enablement

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Director/Sr. Manager, Enablement to act as the bridge between marketing and sales teams. This individual will empower sales and business development to effectively manage prospects and clients. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, this role will focus on enabling the sales team to drive growth through proprietary products while managing external outreach via tradeshows, conferences, and campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enablement strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations leadership to ensure cohesive execution of go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
- Design and manage sales enablement programs, including onboarding, ongoing training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee the development of impactful sales content, such as playbooks, pitch decks, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with product messaging and positioning.
- Establish and track sales enablement metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness, refining them to achieve desired outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the enablement function is a recognized strategic partner in meeting business goals.
- Advance the maturity of the enablement function to meet the demands of the sales organization and broader GTM efforts.
Required Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
- 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, event-based marketing, business development marketing, or customer success management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build consensus among senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking capability to translate business goals into actionable enablement strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure timely execution of complex marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting to inform decisions and demonstrate program impact.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure organizational alignment.
