5123 Supply Operations Manager

Duties: 

  • The Supply Operations Manager will work closely with Operations Managers and our Vetting Agents on the Supply Operations team to act as a decision maker and final reviewer of critically important supply coming through the intake process each week. 
  • This role needs a candidate who is adept at spotting the most unique brand-aligned supply within our funnel, while consistently being able to sort through and organize large amounts of data. 
  • Candidates should be able to identify both inherently interesting and qualified supply, along with cosmetic opportunities such as copy and photography improvements. 
  • The role requires creativity and ingenuity to look outside our systems to discover unique attributes of supply. 
  • Additional responsibilities will include identifying and operationalizing opportunities to improve onboarding conversion and/or handling support escalations. 
  • The ideal applicant will be self-driven, detail oriented, and excel in delivering creative solutions despite changing constraints. 
  • A collaborative attitude, empathy, and a resolute focus are essential qualities. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Engage in high-subjectivity and complex curation and review tasks on a daily basis.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document individual decisions and considerations in various tools; homegrown, third party, Airtable, and GSuite.
  • Be able to defend and articulate design and selection decisions to leadership with conviction and enthusiasm. 
  • Act as an arbiter of taste within the global operations to ensure high quality outcomes aligned to specific creative and supply briefs. 
  • Track specific feedback on each case which articulates what might be improved to enhance the submission. 
  • Evaluate the submission against supply criteria, merchandising standards, and our policies. 
  • Research cases thoroughly, using various third party data sources, to better understand submission, local requirements, and/or reputation. 
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis of opportunities to improve funnel throughput.


Requirements & Skills: 

  • 3+ years of experience in global marketing curation and/or experience design and production. 
  • Creative eye for unique and interesting content and supply. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with experience developing custom organizational systems to drive time sensitive work forward. 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under constant deadlines.
  • Solution-focused with excellent prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills. 
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications.
  • Experience with SQL, Airtable, and Keynote a plus.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality and creating welcoming experiences for a global audience. 
  • Curation, vetting, and subjective decision making experience at scale a plus. 
  • Photography or photo quality experience a plus. 
  • Copy editing or writing experience a plus.


The hiring range for this position is $38 to $48 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
