We’re on the hunt for a Field Service Technician who thrives in motion—traveling, troubleshooting, and training end users on advanced medical simulation equipment.


At Engenium, we match top tech talent with purpose-driven opportunities—and this role puts you at the heart of it all. You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground support expert, making sure every install runs smoothly and every customer walks away impressed.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Hit the road! Travel 80–90% of the time to perform on-site service, installs, and training
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues with professionalism and precision
  • Provide phone-based support and work on in-house repairs between trips
  • Diagnose problems and coordinate replacement parts or reworked assemblies
  • Mount and install AVS equipment on ceilings and walls
  • Build lasting relationships with clients—be their go-to tech guru
  • Participate in trade shows and demos when needed
  • Stay on top of case notes, return parts, and expense reports


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Excellent communication skills and customer-first attitude
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own travel + schedule
  • Strong troubleshooting ability (hardware, networking, electronics, etc.)
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, calibration procedures, and fluid dynamics
  • Ability to provide top-notch phone support and explain technical issues clearly
  • Comfort handling tools and tech in real-world settings

šŸŽ“ Preferred Experience:

  • Associate degree or technical certification (electronics, robotics, or related)
  • 5+ years of relevant field experience (at least 3 years customer-facing)
  • Prior experience servicing high-tech or medical devices is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and use hand tools regularly
  • Comfortable working on your feet and traveling overnight up to 90% of the time
