Wealth Planning Associate — Washington, DC (Hybrid: Two Days in Office)

ISC’s team of Financial Services Recruiters is partnering with a leading Wealth Advisory firm in DC on an opportunity open due to growth. This is an established, independent firm serving high-net-worth families and individuals, known for its collegial culture, long-term career development, and commitment to promoting from within.

This role is ideal for someone early in their wealth management career who wants to learn the full client-advisory process — from planning and investment implementation to direct client interaction — within a highly respected, growth-oriented firm.

What You’ll Do:

·       Support senior advisors in delivering personalized wealth planning and investment management solutions.

·       Prepare and participate in client meetings; handle follow-ups and ongoing requests.

·       Assist with portfolio analysis, trading, and account activity (once appropriately licensed).

·       Gather client data, build financial plans in eMoney, and contribute to strategy discussions.

·       Participate on the firm’s Investment Committee — contributing to research, strategy discussions, and industry conference insights.

·       Partner with the client service team on new accounts, transfers, and cash movement.

·       Collaborate on internal initiatives to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.

What We’re Looking For:

·       1–3 years of experience in financial services — RIA, family office, or private wealth setting preferred.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.

·       Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and client-first mindset.

·       Familiarity with CRM systems and financial planning tools (eMoney, Morningstar, etc.).

·       Desire to pursue the CFP® or long-term career in wealth management.

If you’re looking for a firm that values mentorship, technical growth, and long-term relationships — this is an outstanding next step.
