Position: IT Systems and Support Specialist - Community Health Setting

Status: Full-time, Permanent

Location: On-site, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii

Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience

Overview:

Join a healthcare team that actually values IT as more than “the guy who fixes the printer.” You’ll support everything from phone systems and biometrics to networks and door access — keeping critical operations secure and running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain IT systems (phones, biometrics, door access, print servers)
• Handle escalated network and application issues (secondary support)
• Install, test, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure
• Provide timely helpdesk support and excellent user service
• Work with vendors on repairs, upgrades, and technical fixes
• Keep asset, configuration, and procedure documentation up to date
• Ensure systems meet HIPAA, cybersecurity, and internal compliance standards
• Take part in training and tech improvement initiatives

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of professional IT experience (healthcare experience a plus)
• Degree in IT or related field
• Strong skills with networking, VMware 7.0, and print servers
• Knowledge of VOIP PBX, CAT5 wiring, and SonicWall Firewalls
• Experience with Unifi Cloud Key, Network, Access & Protect
• Solid grasp of Office 365 and Exchange 365
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and integrity in following security protocols
