Position: Senior Accountant

Salary: $60,000 to $85,000 Depending on experience

About the Role:

Our client, a well-established public accounting firm based in Oakville, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and working papers
• Manage corporate and personal tax filings
• Assist in audit and review engagements
• Support client relationships with practical financial and tax guidance
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in public accounting, including audit, tax, and financial reporting
• Experience working for mid-sized firms between 10 and 25 employees
• Solid understanding of Canadian accounting principles and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bonus: Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., CaseWare, Profile, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
