Position: Senior Business & Systems Consultant: Wealth Management – Securities Dealer Focus

Status: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Remote or Hybrid, with occasional visits to Waterloo OR Downtown Toronto

Compensation: Negotiable, depending on experience, Bonus, Benefits, Pension, 4 weeks vacation

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business & Systems Consultant to help drive the growth and modernization of a Canadian investment dealer platform. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will analyze user needs, define system and business requirements, and support solution design and delivery. You’ll leverage your strong knowledge of securities products, regulatory frameworks, and dealer systems to influence strategy, mentor analysts, and deliver meaningful improvements to client and operational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business needs and translate them into system requirements and business capabilities.
• Support solution design, data integration, testing, and implementation.
• Review investment data and transaction feeds to inform system and business enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver platform improvements.
• Mentor and support Business & Systems Analysts.

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of Canadian securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, UMAs/SMAs).
• Experience with CIRO-regulated investment dealers and systems like Kyndryl, NBIN, Foureyes and d1g1t.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (AML, KYC, KYP).
• Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset.
