SEO Content Writer (Contract)

Start: May 2025 | End: May 2026

Location: Hybrid (2 days in Downtown Ottawa Office) | Security Clearance: Reliability status required before start

Overview:

Seeking an experienced SEO Content Writer to create and optimize digital content that drives organic traffic. This role involves keyword research, content strategy, and collaboration with the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and implement high-impact keywords
• Write and optimize website content (articles, landing pages, case studies, etc.)
• Develop SEO strategies to boost search rankings
• Analyze performance using SEO tools and analytics
• Collaborate with marketing to align content with campaigns
• Stay current with SEO trends and algorithm updates

Requirements:

• 4+ years of SEO writing experience with a strong portfolio
• Proficient in SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience with tools like Jasper, CoPilot, SurferSEO, and ClearScope
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
• Bilingual in English and French (asset)
