Write On Target is an HR communications agency and consultancy that helps companies explain complex HR topics to employees in clear, plain language. Much of our work focuses on employee benefits and enrollment, health and wellness programs, year-round employee engagement, and HR or compensation-related changes.

We are seeking a Production Artist to support our team by updating and preparing client communications for print and digital distribution. This role focuses on maintaining existing templates, implementing copy updates, and ensuring materials follow established brand and style guidelines. This is an in-office position, with one work-from-home day per week when it is not a busy season.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable working within established layouts, making edits and updates while keeping materials consistent and production-ready. This is a production-focused role centered on editing and updating existing materials rather than developing new designs.

What You’ll Do:

• Update and maintain existing templates and layouts for print and digital materials such as brochures, flyers, postcards, web banners, email graphics, and digital signage
• Implement copy updates, formatting changes, and layout adjustments while maintaining brand and style standards
• Prepare files for print and digital distribution and ensure they meet production requirements
• Assist with maintaining and updating email communications using Dreamweaver and HTML
• Coordinate with print vendors and mail houses to ensure files are prepared correctly
• Support the team by executing revisions and preparing final deliverables
• Occasionally assist with internal marketing materials or simple web updates

What You Bring:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a production artist or production-focused design role
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience working with established templates and brand guidelines
• Knowledge of print production and preparing press-ready files
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A portfolio demonstrating layout, formatting, and production work

Nice to Have:



• Experience with SharePoint, WordPress, or HubSpot
• Experience with Dreamweaver and basic HTML updates
• Ability to create simple animations or GIFs
• Experience editing PDFs or creating interactive PDFs
