Project Accountant



The Project Accountant is responsible for the following:

·        Oversee the administration of capital and reimbursable initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines.

·        Generate and verify invoices related to reimbursable projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency with agreements. Coordinate with project leads and external partners to facilitate prompt payment.

·        Assist with updates to systems that influence property-related workflows, including testing changes and resolving any issues that arise.

·        Contribute to the financial reporting cycle on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring outputs meet both accuracy standards and strict deadlines.

·        Record and support detailed asset-related financial activities such as asset capitalization, disposals, allocations, and associated accounting entries for leadership review.

·        Complete monthly account reconciliations to confirm accuracy and meet required timelines.

·        Provide support for on-demand reporting and special financial analysis as requested.

  • A high level of relationship management skills as this role interacts with internal and external partners.

ABILITIES:

  • Basic computer skills, particularly in Oracle, Excel, Smartsheet, and other related tools and technologies.
  • Detail orientation and an ability to follow procedures and structured workflow system guides.
