Green Park is delighted to be partnering with the Neurodegeneration Initiative to appoint the Chair of its inaugural Board.
The NI is at a pivotal point in its development. As it establishes itself as a new charity supporting the Dame Barbara Windsor Dementia Goals programme, it is seeking a founding Chair who can help shape its strategic direction, governance and long-term impact.
The Neurodegeneration Initiative is a uniquely independent public–private partnership, co-funded by government and industry, created to accelerate progress in dementia and neurodegeneration. As the engine room of the Dementia Goals programme, it brings together partners across life sciences, academia, government and the NHS to drive innovation in biomarkers, clinical research and system readiness.
This voluntary role presents a unique opportunity for an outstanding leader to guide an organisation with significant national backing, a clear mandate and the potential to transform outcomes for people affected by dementia. As Chair, you will provide strategic leadership to the Board and Executive, ensure effective governance, strengthen relationships across the health and research ecosystem, and support the development of a sustainable public–private funding model.
Please see the information link on to get a clear picture of the scale and ambition of the Neurodegeneration Initiative.
If you share this commitment to driving meaningful progress for patients, families and carers, we would be delighted to hear from you.
