Church of England Pensions Board
London, ENG
Apply for this job

The Pensions Board is a regulated pension provider and a charity providing retirement services to those who work or minister in the Church of England, and operates the Church’s clergy retirement housing service which offers subsidised rental housing for those who need it.

From 2026, the Church of England is making a big investment to transform the support it offers its clergy. The Pensions Board team has laid the groundwork, and is now ready to appoint the Director of Financial Wellbeing Services to head up a new team charged with delivering these products and services. This is an exciting role, working with a fantastic leadership team, for someone led by their values, passionate about excellence and collaboration, and driven by integrity and compassion. You will bring experience of customer service delivery – you might bring a background in financial services, or in a charity within the advice sector.

The Pensions Board is committed to inclusion, and with this being a brand new role with a new team, we are genuinely open to different options for how this could be configured. The Board is proudly part of the Church of England, and knowledge or awareness of the Church of England and/or the challenges particular to parish clergy and their families would be helpful, but there is no faith requirement attaching to this role.
