Senior Network Engineer / Manager

Our client is a growing managed services provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. They support critical environments across more than 10 data centers, ensuring our clients' systems stay online, optimized, and protected.

We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Manager to lead our client's network team and own the performance, reliability, and evolution of our network infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 network engineers, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on technical support.
• Manage and optimize network infrastructure across 10+ data centers, with a strong focus on Cisco systems and some exposure to Mellanox hardware.
• Act as the senior technical authority for core routing, switching, and data center connectivity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions.
• Oversee network monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate new technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Establish and enforce best practices, SOPs, and network security policies.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Cisco switching/routing platforms, including configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Mellanox or willingness to oversee and support engineers who specialize in it.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-data center network environments.
• Strong grasp of network security concepts, VLANs, VPNs, and Layer 2/3 troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in an MSP, SaaS, or highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
• Cloud networking experience (e.g., AWS, Azure).
