As a Sales Executive, you will oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery to software demos, pricing, contracting, and seamless handoffs to implementation teams. This role requires technical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex relationships and projects. Familiarity with healthcare SaaS sales and systems integration is vital, as is the ability to represent the organization effectively at industry events and conferences.
Applicants must be self-starters, capable of analyzing market opportunities and creating actionable strategies, such as SWOT analyzes, to determine how we should approach new opportunities. The position is remote, but applicants must reside within one hour of a major domestic airport.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
· Manage the full sales process, including lead generation, client discovery calls, software demos, proposals, pricing, and contract negotiation.
· Build and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities with a focus on acute care hospitals, senior living communities, and ancillary healthcare organizations.
· Conduct market analysis, including SWOT analyses, to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
· Develop strong CRM skills (HubSpot preferred) to maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities and client interactions.
2. Client Relationship Management:
· Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities to enhance operations through Delegate’s technology solutions.
· Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client-hosted engagements, independently fostering relationships and partnerships.
· Collaborate with clients to ensure their unique needs are met, aligning Delegate’s solutions with their objectives.
3. Technical and Operational Expertise:
· Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical landscapes, including HL7 interfaces, Single Sign-On (SSO), APIs, EDI, and HTTPS connections, and how these technologies integrate with Delegate’s solutions.
· Collaborate with internal legal, finance, and operations teams to deliver contracts and project plans efficiently.
· Assist in RFP completion with precision and attention to detail.
4. Marketing and Branding Experience:
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes, particularly in healthcare technology.
· Provide strategic input on branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives to enhance our market presence in North America.
