Electrical Design Software Integration Engineer

Remote – Full Time

 

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team for our customer's facility remotely. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be an experienced Electrical Design Software Integration Engineer with advanced expertise in Siemens Capital software tools. In this role, you will support a customer transitioning from existing Capital software environments into Capital Integrator, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation process. You will collaborate with design engineering teams, process owners, and IT stakeholders to optimize workflows, develop integration strategies, and enhance data connectivity across ECAD and MCAD domains. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and improving digital design ecosystems.

 

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

 

Duties:

  • Lead and support the transition from Siemens Capital Logic to Capital Integrator for a large-scale customer implementation.
  • Configure, customize, and optimize Capital toolsets to align with engineering and data management requirements.
  • Develop and implement plugins or automation scripts to extend Capital functionality (preferred but not required).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Capital ECAD data with CREO MCAD systems.
  • Create clear technical documentation, process guidelines, and user training materials to support adoption and long-term success.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and guidance for Capital software usage, data models, and integrations.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Capital Logic.
  • Proficiency with Capital Integrator.
  • Experience supporting Capital implementations, migrations, or tool integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ECAD workflows and data structures.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience writing Capital plugins (Java or similar language).
  • Familiarity with Capital Harness Designer and Capital Component Manager (Library).
  •  Experience with Capital ECAD ↔ CREO MCAD integration.
  • Strong technical writing skills for documenting processes and creating user guides.
