Manufacturing Engineer

Stoughton, WI – Full Time

 

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team for our customer's facility in Stoughton, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be a Manufacturing Engineer skilled in collaborating with manufacturing teams to resolve challenges during the production process. This role focuses on ensuring coordination with programming and fixturing to facilitate a smooth transition from design to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

 

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with the design engineering team to identify, analyze, and resolve design issues that impact manufacturability, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to suggest design improvements and modifications that optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and product assembly.
  • Analyze manufacturing challenges, use root cause analysis and other problem-solving techniques to determine solutions and improve production workflows.
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring that design specifications are met while enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and minimizing downtime.
  • Reviewing each customer order for build specifications and impact to sidewall programming and fixturing.
  • New customer order specifications for any change that requires changes to process/fixturing for suspensions, roofs, underframe, doors.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in PLC logic, ladder logic, and excel.
