We are currently seeking an experienced Network Manager for our client located in Gardena, CA.
Type: Full-time, hybrid, direct hire
Pay: $130,000-135,000/year
Schedule: Rotation on call; some travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, hire, train, and manage Network Operations staff, ensuring performance standards through coaching, evaluations, and corrective action
- Oversee daily IT operations and infrastructure including servers, workstations, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN networks, telecommunications, intrusion detection, and data center systems
- Ensure system availability, reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance across all platforms
- Manage support for critical systems including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, Citrix VAD, Cisco firewalls/routers, Core/Edge switching, VOIP, scripting tools, and database systems
- Plan, implement, and manage hardware/software installations, upgrades, patches, configurations, and backup/recovery solutions
- Monitor help desk trends, analyze system performance, and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, training materials, and documentation
- Coordinate disaster recovery, archiving, and antivirus strategies to protect organizational data and assets
- Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and leadership to support business technology needs and initiatives
- Manage IT budgeting, capacity planning, procurement, and compliance with audit and industry standards
- Review logs and system metrics to ensure security, performance, and appropriate network use
- Provide technical support to remote locations, including on-site visits as needed
- Represent IT in meetings; maintain strong communication and trust with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 5 – 10 years of Information Systems or Network administration and support required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
- Candidate must be a US Citizen due to badging requirements
- Candidate must complete drug test and breath alcohol test
- Previous experience with VMware, active directory, and group policy management
- Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
- Effective problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
