Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead a dynamic kitchen team in a high-volume environment in Hershey, PA. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for food and beverage, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all kitchen operations, including staff management, inventory control, and menu planning
- Lead and develop a team of chefs, cooks, and dishwashers
- Oversee kitchen labor budget, inventory, and purchasing
- Develop and implement menu plans, price menu items, and maintain records and accounts
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Conduct performance evaluations and administer disciplinary action when necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of high-volume corporate chef experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a developing management team
- Knowledge of hiring practices, training curriculum, and instruction methods
- Ability to adapt to changing company objectives and react to new project deadlines
