Account Manager – Industrial Sales (Phoenix, AZ)

We’re seeking a driven, customer-focused sales professional to manage and grow accounts in the Phoenix area, supported by the local branch. This role focuses on delivering solutions that reduce costs and increase efficiencies for customers in manufacturing and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow multiple accounts within an assigned territory
• Develop and execute growth plans for each customer
• Build strong relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Identify, document, and communicate cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with supplier reps and Specialists to deliver value-added solutions
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, research, and cold calling
• Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage activities and pipeline
• Stay informed on products, trends, and industry knowledge
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience (industrial, metalworking, or cutting tools preferred)
• Proven ability to grow and retain accounts
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM software
• Technical aptitude and comfort in manufacturing environments
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
