Accountant

The Accountant provides support to the financial operations across complex construction C.A. Hull projects. The Accountant ensures timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll while providing backup support across the finance team. 

 

The Accountant is responsible for key accounting processes, including financial reporting, and month end close, while ensuring accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and supporting compliance. The Accountant also contributes to process improvements that strengthen the overall accounting function. 


Education, Experience and Qualifications for the Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within construction or a related industry. 
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, including invoice review, vendor payments, collections and cash applications.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and operations teams

 

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure

The position is full-time with a competitive compensation package based on skills and experience. C.A.
