Executive Chef for Modern Five Star Hotel Opening in Brussels


Lead the Culinary Vision of A New Luxury Hotel


A leading international hotel group is bringing its irreverent, playful spirit to Brussels, and we’re looking for a visionary Executive Chef to lead the way. Set to redefine the culinary landscape in the vibrant heart of Europe,the hotel will  open its doors in Q2 of 2025. This brand-new property will feature 180 chic rooms, two distinct dining venues, and world-class event spaces, making it a cultural landmark from day one.


About The Hotel


This modern design property is  more than a hotel—it’s a movement. This brand has redefined hospitality with an irreverent and playful sensibility combined with exceptional design, detail, and service. With properties in New York, Miami, London, the Maldives, Ibiza, Bangkok, and more, they are known as one of the most iconic names in the lifestyle hotel space. 

  • Ground Floor Restaurant:, offering an informal, all-day dining vibe. 150 seats (70 indoor, 80 outdoor).
  • Rooftop Restaurant & Bar: A Mediterranean escape with an Iberian twist, perched on the 29th floor. 150 seats (110 indoor, 40 outdoor), with jaw-dropping views of the city, serving lunch and dinner 5 days a week.
  • Event Space: 630 sqm of stylish, flexible space for iconic events and gatherings.
  • Lobby Lounge & Room Service: Welcoming and stylish, with 50 seats for guests to relax and unwind.


The Role: Executive Chef


We’re seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations. You’ll be at the helm of both restaurants, bringing a unique mix of informal flair and refined elegance to life. This role will give you the chance to:


  • Create and collaborate: Develop menus that push the boundaries of taste and creativity, delivering a dining experience unlike any other in Brussels.
  • Lead and inspire: Oversee a talented culinary team, foster creativity, and ensure consistent excellence across all outlets.
  • Deliver quality: Work alongside senior management to bring the culinary vision to life, balancing innovation with the highest standards.


What We’re Looking For


  • Extensive experience: Senior-level experience in hotel kitchens, ideally across both informal and fine dining.
  • Creativity and execution: Proven ability to innovate and deliver at the highest culinary levels.
  •  EU Knowledge: Deep understanding of EU labor laws; experience in Belgium is a plus.
  • Leadership: A true leader who can inspire a team and drive excellence across outlets.
  • Availability: Ready to start by December 1, 2024, to get us prepared for an amazing grand opening.


What’s On Offer


  • Location: In the buzzing Northern Quarter, near the EU institutions.
  •  Salary: €85,000 annually, with potential for negotiation based on experience.
