Position Summary

BoujieMana is a full-service restaurant in central San Diego serving both the surrounding neighborhood and the internal TCWGlobal community. The restaurant offers an elevated, yet approachable dining experience focused on quality and hospitality.

The space includes a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating, a private VIP room, and a training and event center for up to 120 guests. BoujieMana serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner using high-quality ingredients at a higher-end price point while remaining accessible.

With strong evening and weekend traffic and convenient parking, BoujieMana operates as both a neighborhood destination and an event-driven hospitality space. We are looking for experienced restaurant Servers who are passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, vibrant energy, and a natural ability to connect with guests. This role requires composure under pressure, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset to ensure service flows seamlessly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Primary

• Warmly welcome guests and create an exceptional dining experience from arrival through departure
• Maintain a proactive, guest-focused approach to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission and values of BoujieMana
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu offerings, pricing, preparation methods, and premium ingredients
• Present menus professionally, answer questions confidently, and provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system
• Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Deliver food and beverages in accordance with BoujieMana’s elevated service standards
• Observe tables attentively to respond promptly to guest needs and ensure a seamless dining experience
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout service and address any concerns with professionalism, courtesy, and a solution-oriented approach
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently using the Shift4 POS system
• Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

Qualifications & Skills

• 2-year previous server experience
• Valid Food Handler’s Card
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Alcohol Training certificate
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day
• Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of winery and different types of cuisines
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems POS
• High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
• Passion for food and wine
• Experience providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
