Title: Learning & Development Specialist – Pharmaceutical Training (Contract)

Pay Rate: $60 - $78/hr

Hours: Full-Time

Location: Remote


Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to support the design and delivery of highly regulated training programs. In this role, you will develop impactful training content for pharmaceutical sales and medical teams, ensuring alignment with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

This position requires the ability to translate complex clinical and product information into engaging, learner-friendly materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in navigating regulated environments while driving effective learning outcomes.


What You’ll Do:

· Design and develop training programs for pharmaceutical sales and medical affairs teams

· Create compliant training content aligned with industry regulations (FDA, promotional guidelines, etc.)

· Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR), and Commercial teams

· Translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, engaging learning materials

· Support onboarding, product launches, and ongoing training initiatives

· Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content based on feedback and performance metrics

· Ensure all materials align with brand standards, compliance requirements, and internal approval processes


What You Bring:

· 5+ years of Learning & Development experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry

· Proven experience developing training content for pharmaceutical sales and/or medical teams

· Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (MLR process, FDA guidelines)

· Experience supporting product launches and commercial training initiatives

· Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts into effective training materials

· Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

· Excellent communication and organizational skills


Bonus Points If You Have:

· Experience with eLearning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar

· Background supporting specialty, biotech, or highly regulated therapeutic areas

· Familiarity with CRM tools such as Veeva or sales enablement platforms

· Experience in digital learning strategy or content optimization
