Title: Senior Content Strategist – Campaigns (Contract)

Pay Rate: $69 - $73/hr

Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-month assignment



Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Content Strategist to lead end-to-end ideation and planning for content campaigns across a digital media platform. In this role, you will define campaign narratives, align cross-functional stakeholders, and guide execution from concept through launch.

This position sits at the intersection of editorial, marketing, and creative production. You will be responsible for shaping storytelling frameworks, developing campaign strategies, and ensuring cohesive execution across on-platform and off-platform experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, strategic thinker, and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead creative brainstorms to define campaign narratives, editorial perspectives, and storytelling frameworks
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams including programming, marketing, PR, social, and creative to align on goals and strategy
  • Develop and execute content rollout strategies, including on-platform featuring and off-platform amplification
  • Create comprehensive campaign briefs that translate strategy into clear direction for production teams
  • Collaborate closely with producers and creative teams to ensure cohesive execution across design, copy, and content
  • Monitor campaign progress, identify risks or gaps, and adjust strategy as needed to maintain alignment
  • Support post-launch reporting, including campaign recaps and executive summaries with key insights
  • Manage multiple concurrent campaigns (typically 4–6 at a time)


What You Bring:

  • 5–7 years of experience in content strategy, editorial, campaign planning, or related fields
  • Strong background in creative storytelling and content development
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across marketing, editorial, and production teams
  • Proven ability to develop campaign strategies and translate them into actionable plans
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience working in music, media, or digital entertainment environments
  • Experience developing on-platform and off-platform content strategies
  • Familiarity with audience strategy, content distribution, and engagement metrics
  • Experience contributing to campaign reporting and performance analysis
