Duration (4-Week Temporary Assignment – PTO coverage)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

*Candidates must be currently available and unemployed - able to commit to the full 4-week assignment without interruption- team member on PTO

About the Role

Ayar Labs is seeking a temporary Shipping/Receiving & Materials Coordinator to provide coverage for a team member on PTO. This is a short-term, 4-week assignment supporting daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.

The ideal candidate will be able to step in quickly with minimal training and support day-to-day shipment processing, inventory handling, stock organization, and shipping documentation in a fast-paced environment.

This role is best suited for someone with hands-on shipping/receiving experience who is comfortable working independently and managing outbound shipment paperwork and inventory tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications (Responsibilities Embedded into Requirements)

• Shipping & Receiving Experience: Minimum 2–3+ years of experience supporting warehouse, shipping/receiving, stockroom, or inventory operations including receiving shipments, organizing materials, processing outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Outbound Shipment Processing: Hands-on experience preparing outgoing shipments including packaging, shipping coordination, packing lists, commercial invoices, customs documentation, and shipment paperwork.
• Bonus: International Shipping Support: Experience supporting international shipments and handling basic customs-related paperwork, shipment tracking, and follow-up communication if shipments are delayed or held in customs.
• Inventory & Stockroom Support: Ability to organize inventory, maintain stockroom accuracy, distribute materials internally, and support general inventory management activities.
• ERP/MRP Systems Experience: Experience using ERP/MRP or inventory systems to process shipping, receiving, inventory, or material transactions preferred.
• Material Handling & Organization: Comfortable handling shipments, stocking materials, maintaining organized inventory areas, and supporting day-to-day warehouse functions.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process shipment documentation, inventory records, and shipping transactions.
• Independent Work Style: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn internal processes during a short-term assignment.
• Team Collaboration: Comfortable communicating with warehouse staff, operations teams, and shipping carriers to support daily operational needs.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Nice to Have: Experience with ESD-sensitive materials or electronic components is helpful but can be trained.
