About the Role
We are looking for a Jr Sales Commissions Analyst to support the commissions process for a global sales team. This role is very detail-oriented and fast-paced, requiring someone who can manage multiple tasks, work with large data sets, and ensure accuracy in commission payments.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in administration of commissions process for 250+ global field sales organization
• Responsible for integrity of sales and commissions data in Xactly (monthly audits, data reviews)
• Calculate and track commission payments accurately and on time
• Partner with Sales Ops, People Ops, and Payroll for new hires, terminations, and transfers
• Set up new hires in systems based on plan policies and procedures
• Work with sales teams to resolve commission-related issues and ensure transparency
• Utilize Excel, Google Sheets, and Xactly to manage large datasets (formulas, tracking, reporting)
• Perform audits, identify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and provide insights on commission data
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
• 2-8 years of experience in supporting sales commissions – administration and integrity of sales and commission data
• Experience working with sales teams and administrating of commission process for a global sales team
• Sales Commissions Experience – must have direct experience with commissions / incentive compensation
• Systems Experience (Xactly / Salesforce / Similar)
• Must have experience to calculate commissions for reps or similar
• Experience to audit data and fixed discrepancies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and prioritize
• Strong collaboration skills across teams – sales ops, people ops, and payroll
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Xactly Incent
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience in finance, accounting, or sales operations
• Experience in software or education industry
• Basic SQL knowledge
