Summary:

We are seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner licensed in New Brunswick to join a virtual care team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide remote primary care and clinical symptom assessments through phone, secure messaging, and video consultations.

This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, highly organized, and passionate about improving healthcare accessibility through virtual care delivery.

What You’ll Do:

· Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide evidence-based clinical guidance remotely via phone, video, and secure messaging

· Identify and manage urgent health concerns while providing follow-up care for unattached patients

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate referrals within scope of practice

· Collaborate with medical advisors and care teams to ensure coordinated and timely patient care

· Utilize digital health platforms and electronic medical record systems to support clinical documentation and workflow efficiency

· Follow established escalation pathways and clinical protocols to support safe patient outcomes

· Troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure uninterrupted virtual care delivery

· Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records and documentation

· Support operational efficiency through use of approved AI-enabled workflows and digital healthcare tools where applicable

What You Bring:

· 1–3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in primary care, urgent care, or virtual care settings

· Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Program (MN NP) or equivalent clinical NP education

· Active license/registration with CNNB/OPNIB in good standing

· Strong diagnostic reasoning, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills

· Experience with telehealth or virtual care delivery preferred

· Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

· Passion for improving healthcare access, quality, and patient outcomes

· Comfortable navigating digital health tools and technology platforms

Home Office Requirements:

· Reliable high-speed internet connection

· Private and secure workspace to maintain patient confidentiality

· Computer or laptop capable of running multiple virtual care applications and platforms

Bonus Points If You Have:

· Bilingual proficiency in English and French

· CNA telehealth or virtual care certifications

· Experience supporting multidisciplinary or distributed healthcare teams

· Familiarity with AI-enabled healthcare workflows or digital patient engagement tools
